Gracie stands tall and proud among cheerful yellow wildflowers, with a sparkling harbor full of sailboats stretching out behind her in the California sunshine. She looks confident, curious, and completely at ease with the world — the perfect coastal girl. This must have been one of her favorite kinds of days.
