Gracie picks her way along a mossy stone ledge beside a glimmering lake, surrounded by cheerful yellow wildflowers and dappled shade. She's mid-sniff, totally in her element, with a blue ribbon of water sparkling behind her. Every walk was a grand adventure when Gracie was leading the way.
